WYCLEF JEAN and JORGE CELEDON SWAP DATES!
Indeed, in a brotherly consultation both of the festival's top attractions have swapped their concert dates: same stage, same time. The reason being an unexpected engagement by Wyclef Jean on Saturday August 14th in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. He will be leaving right after the show - without his crew - for Paris Orly, for his flight. This has everything to do with the turbulence surrounding his candidacy for the presidency. Wyclef has informed us personally and has requested to release a short statement:
New York, august 9th Dear Fans, Thanks for your support. I have some good news and bad news. First, the bad news. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be able to perform on Saturday. The good news, I will be performing on Friday. If you bought your tickets for Saturday alone, you can come and rock out with me. I am looking forward to seeing you all there. Wyclef
Those people who purchased a ticket for Saturday especially for Wyclef will be able to attend the show on Friday without any problems. The Friday tickets will also be valid on Saturday.
